LocateAuto is an easy to use, on-the go auto rickshaw fare meter to get real-time fares and location while commuting. The app helps the user to identify faulty auto rickshaw fare meters and avoid getting cheated.

LocateAuto let’s the user run the auto rickshaw meter on a mobile device similar to an auto rickshaw driver running it on an auto rickshaw to know the specified fare for the day or night. The user can also find the approximate location on the map during the commute with an easy click, even while the auto rickshaw meter is running. What’s more, the user can access these features for multiple cities covered currently by the app.

Features that help the user to make informed decisions during the commute include:
- Display and update real time auto fare on the go by just starting the app and acquiring GPS signal.
- Automatically update distance covered during the commute as the auto rickshaw moves, every time the user runs the app
- Show location using a simple click of a button
- Change city using the settings option to get preloaded fares for multiple places covered currently by the app
- Get day/night fare displays automatically
